Climate issue addressed This handmade ceramic wall lamp addresses climate change in its production by preventing pollution by being in control of the whole create-and-produce process, which allows to follow principles of ethical and responsible production.

Sustainable materials It is built using slowly processed mineral bodies in ceramic clay, which are abundant and sourced locally from Portugal. The linen and fabrics that build the cord are also locally sourced.

Ethical production This product ethical production supports fair and safe work all created and produced in Portugal, and positive communities by supporting and improving the traditional Portuguese art of ceramics.

How is this handmade ceramic wall lamp created?

This light is sustainably designed and produced in Portugal by talented designer Patricia Lobo. Hand-painted, each colour offers nuances that make each piece unique. All of our products are crafted with great attention to details and glazed with a colour developed and tested over time. It is important to raise awareness about the slow process of craftwork, as well as its complexity and unpredictability. The majority of the pieces are cooked in a gas muffle furnace, which gives each piece unique textures and nuances. Please note images are only a reference and that both the ceramic, cord and the other materials may suffer minor alterations.
