Where it comes from

 

This piece is designed and made by the multi-award-winning designer Shashank Gautam from India. He champions bamboo in his pieces as both an aesthetic feature and an eco-friendly answer to innovative, quality design solutions. Their vision is to revolutionise the way bamboo is seen and used.

The designer complements the bamboo's natural grain and colouring with clear lines and curves, creating elegance, whilst still maintaining minimalist qualities. Woven textures and splashes of colour add a modern touch to these otherwise organically-inspired designs.
